There is a lack of social activities, which leads to a break in social, friendship, professional, family, love and school ties, as well as the appearance of difficulties in carrying out school or professional tasks.

There are also repercussions on sleep because the gambling addict will tend to play, even at night, thus shortening his or her rest time. The same can be said for their diet, which tends to deteriorate or even disappear in the worst cases.

A person who is addicted to video games risks, in the absence of care, to find himself sooner or later in a state of psychological suffering and big solitude.

The result is an obvious malaise. In some cases, a video game addict can become extremely sad or aggressive, which, depending on the player's basic psychological state, can lead to suicide.

If nothing is done to allow him to break with his addiction, the addicted gamer will be exposed little by little to school failure and de-socialization, or professional failure and dismissal. In the long run, he or she may lose all self-esteem.
